The doctors at Brentfield are very good. They take their duty of care to a level that goes far above and beyond and really listen to the patients concerns. They are always thorough and detailed in their evaluation and diagnosis of symptoms and put a patient at ease. Thank you so much!

Suggested improvements
  • Nothing really! The toilets are also incredibly clean :)

Barely being able to stand ysterday, I was kept waiting by a jobsworth receptionist to identify who was (there were no other patients waiting fog to be seen in the entire building). I was then confronted by to members of administrative staff and a doctor (Bhatt) who triggered a panic attack by insisting that I wear a mask (I have asthma and was weak from low blood sugar levels and acute dehydration) hten they wanted me to sit in an a specific seat, when there was nothing to designate this seat for this pupose. Such bullying caused me to politelt to tell Dr Bhatt that I was suffering a panic attack but I was told to leave, they beached my GDPR rights by contacting neighbouring GPs about my behaviour and subsequently struck me from their patients' list. It does seem that this practice is run more for the interests of administrators rather than patients but Dr Bhatt failed in his duty of care; I subsequently spent some hours in accident and emergency being treated. There was no excuse for the bullying behaviour I was at the receiving end of and Brent frankly deserves better. Written more in sorrow than in anger, I remain appalled at the treatment meted out to me yesterday and would dvise anyone seeking a new GP to avoid Brentfield Medical Centre as they do not understand patient-centred care.

Suggested improvements
  • Dr Bhatt could have treated me as he had no other patients and it was known that I had diagnised mental health conditions exacerbated by acute dehydration and low blood pressure caused by medication prescribed by Brentfield Medical Centre

I phoned at 11:05 today 27/05/2021 regarding the appointment for my 2nd dose of the vaccine, as it was more than 10 weeks since I had the first one. The lady receptionist who answered my call said she will send me the link to my phone. At 11:26 I rang again and told her I haven't receive the message yet and ask her if possible to send it through my email address, and ask her to double check my phone number just to make sure they got it right. Beforehand I already asked my friend to send me a text message, to make sure that I have no problem receiving text messages. So when I spoke to the same lady receptionist, and asked if possible to try sending text again and check again my numbers, she was quite arrogant and told me, she is not going to send me another text for the link which I never get anyway on the first place. I am not expecting this kind of attitude from this lady receptionist.

Suggested improvements
  • Teach and Train the receptionist to be polite and helpful with the patients.
Response from the doctor - We are sorry that you didn't feel our receptionist dealt with you in a polite and courteous manner. All our staff take part in regular customer service training and whilst they do a stressful job on the front line they are there to help and support patients. I will discuss your feedback at the next staff meeting and if you wish to contact the practice and let me know the mobile number you called from I will listen to the call so I can provide feedback to the member of staff. If you have any future problems please do not hesitate to email breccg.brentfieldmc@nhs.net and mark for the attention of Managing Partner and I will come straight back to you. Once again I am sorry that you have had a problem and am grateful for you bring this to our attendion.

Surgery is not the best, the receptionist are rude and so are one of the lady doctors. Getting a appointment is ridiculous. Apart from that everything else is ok

It's hard getting a appointment if you work 9-5. Them seem to only like doing on the day bookings which is hard when you are at work. If you wanted a prebookable appointment it wouldn't be for another month.
