My Partner has suffered from unexplained tiredness, fatigue and feelings of not being well for nearly 5 years, after many specialist appointments and untold visits to A & E, we called the Dr on a home visit and by chance she suggested taking Prednisolone starting at 40 mg, then reducing after 3 days by one tablet to 7 and so on, on the third day it was like magic, she was washing up, cleaning, painting which she hasn’t been capable of doing for four years. Then it came Dr said no more until you see specialist to authorise further scripts. She tapered off as directed and within 3 days was back to the beginning again, she had some tablets left from previous script and took 10 mg for a period of time over Xmas lo and behold things improved once more. She has now stopped again and bang she is back to the laying prone on the sofa, with me doing everything even feeding her again.
