I attended the Walton Centre under the care of Mr Jibril Osman-Farah for MR- guided focused ultrasound thalamotomy. At my first consultation I felt confident and cared for, Mr Farah was professional he explained the procedure, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. While waiting for the procedure Mr Farah’s secretary was helpful in arranging appointments to accommodate my travel from the north east and planned holidays.
On the day of the procedure the whole team on Jefferson ward were professional ,caring and friendly . I was very anxious about the procedure but Mr Farah and the large team of many professionals were exceptional and although it is not a pleasant experience they did their best to make me as comfortable as possible . The results were instant and amazing . My right hand is tremor free and I still find it hard to believe . Mr Farah has given me my life back and I will be forever grateful to each and everyone of the team .
