My elderly father and I attended a consultation with Dr. Ghuran to discuss dad's aortic valve stenosis. Dr. Ghuran had clearly spent significant preparation time before the consultation studying dad's case history and reviewing his ECG and scan images. This gave us a lot of confidence in his interest and diagnosis. Dr. Ghuran was knowledgeable, friendly and convergent in terms of identifying a possible treatment. He politely asked dad several questions regarding his general health, medication and quality of life. He assessed dad's cognitive capability and response to a simple physical task. After a thorough clinical assessment, Dr. Ghuran's view was that dad should be considered for TAVI intervention. Thanks to Dr. Ghuran's follow up with one of his specialist colleagues in cardiology, dad was added to the list of patients to be seen for this procedure. We would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Ghuran to patients looking for a reputable cardiologist.
