My wife and I were referred to Dr. Anju Kulkarni for a genetics consultation following a recent prostate cancer diagnosis for me, and a historical breast cancer diagnosis for my wife. The administrative process and follow up was seamless and efficient, and her staff extremely responsive. In clinical terms, I found Dr. Kulkarni to have an exceptionally compassionate and sympathetic bedside manner, and a deep knowledge and understanding not only of the medical and genetic position, as one might expect, but also of the types of anxieties and issues to which this process can give rise - not just about oneself, but about one's children and other relatives, and the worries they might face. The risks, issues, outcomes and possible next steps were all very clearly explained and, had matters gone further forward, I would have felt completely reassured and comforted knowing that Dr. Kulkarni was our guiding hand. I would recommend Dr. Kulkarni unhesitatingly.
