I was recommended to Professor Lloyd by my physio and made an appointment to see him at the Spire Hospital in Leicester. Although this was an hour and a half drive away it was well worth the trip! He immediately put me at ease, was not at all aloof and came over as a genuinely very nice man. On 9 November 2023, I had laparoscopic repairs of my left and right inguinal hernias as well as a small umbilical hernia. I was sore for about 9 days, but now, some two weeks later, I feel completely recovered and ready to be active again. The whole process was very slick. The standard of care and attention was first class and I couldn't recommend Professor Lloyd and his team highly enough!
