Following contrary advice from two NHS consultants I needed advice and counsel from a third party. I selected Professor David Lloyd after much research, as his portfolio stood out from all the others I had seen. I made an appointment to see him regarding my hernia and must say that he was very efficient in his consultation with me and also explained to me that I would need additional consultation from a member of his team and anaesthetist Dr Bouch. Dr Bouch explained in clear and concise details what my challenge was something that had not been answered over 5 plus years. Professor Lloyd was therefore able to clearly explain a good plan of management which enabled me to feel confident with the outcome. The care and and understanding by ALL staff at the Spire hospital was second to none.
