As a physiotherapist and osteopathic clinic owner, father of 3 children and a professional bagpiper, keen gym goer and weightlifter - I lead a very busy and active life. Bagpiping and weightlifting have taken toll on my anatomy over the years and 5 years ago i had an inguinal hernia repair carried out. Fast forward 5 years and I started to get recurrence of symptoms which massively impacted my hobbies and clinical work. I was told to simply stop doing things that aggravated it. Suffice to say, this wasn't acceptable in my view nor the right advice so I sought second opinion from Prof. Lloyd who was thorough in his case history taking and examination to really understand my unique needs. He carried out the Lloyd release procedure and I am delighted to say a week after surgery I am back playing my bagpipes and I walked 18,000 steps with only minor discomfort just 8 days later. Having the lloyd release procedure has given me my life and career back. I cannot thank him enough...... Off to the gym now ;-).
