I am so grateful to Mr. Patel, I have had many operations over the years and I have never had a general surgeon like Mr. Patel he was kind understanding and treated one so well. I was due to have a gastroscopy to deal with a stone blocked in my bile duct. While staying with my son, I came into The Royal London as an A and E patient and Mr Patel and his team cared for me extremeley well I could not fault any of them. I eventually had my gallbladder removed by key hole surgery as Mr Patel through tests discovered my problem was not the bile duct but my gallbladder which needed to come out. I was very scared as the operations in the past had not gone well. I trusted Mr Patel and am so grateful to him and all his team as everything went so well. The scars are so tiny I really dont know how they did it, what I do know is that his whole team were brilliant. As for the star rating I would give well above 5*. To anyone who is under this team I would say dont be scared you willl be treated with care understanding and dignity, they are the best of the best.
