If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, then I think you will struggle to find anyone better than Mr Holmes. I had issues with my under-eye bags. I am only in my early 40’s and they made me look tired, created shadows under my eyes and aged me prematurely. I knew they would only get worse as I got older so I went to see Mr Holmes after doing some research and reading the excellent reviews from other patients. Mr Holmes put me at ease, explained the process fully and gave me realistic expectations of what the results were likely to be. This was followed up with a detailed letter of advice and, along with his website, you have access to a lot of information to help you make an informed decision. The ethos is definitely one of care and at no point do you feel that you are on the receiving end of a sales pitch. The surgery itself went really well. The team at Methley Park were superb and went that extra step to make me feel comfortable. The anaesthetist, Rama, was excellent and I had no ill effects from the anaesthetic at all. I recovered well (the bruising was probably better than I expected) and I have had no issues whatsoever. I felt listened to, reassured and safe at all times. It’s a big thing to put your trust in someone to make changes to your body and to your appearance, especially your eyes (the ‘Jackie O’ sunglasses have to come off at some point!) but with Mr Holmes you are getting a first-class surgeon who provides you with honest advice and who carries out the surgery in an extremely safe setting. He is personable, approachable, and clearly very talented. I am so happy with the results. My eye bags are gone, you can’t see any scars (the stitches were so neat) and I look and feel like ‘me’ again. The overall result is natural – apart from the fact that my eye bags have vanished you wouldn’t be able to tell I have had surgery. Thank you, Mr Holmes, you have been brilliant, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone else considering surgery.
