I am so happy that Dr. Yoong was the surgeon on my emergency procedure. It was a terrifying situation. Dr. Yoong took time to comfort me and answer questions I had before undergoing my procedure. His confidence and candor helped relieve my worries and anxiety.
In my follow up visits, he was also very informative and kind. He was available if I had any causing concerns outside of my appointments as well.
Dr. Yoong is detailed and diligent in his work. There are many doctors who excel in their profession but lack empathy and human connection or rapport-- Dr. Yoong is Not one of them. He surpasses any doctor I've had before; in technical and interpersonal skill. He is at the top of his field; highly trained, highly skilled and also empathetic and understanding to his patients' needs and concerns. A rare combination in the healthcare industry.
