I highly recommend Dr. Smellie. Starting from the consultation stage to the surgery phase and then the recovery stage everything was clear, and very smooth. During the consultation phase, Dr. Smellie made sure to give me a very clear idea about my problem once diagnosed and he explained to me every single detail about the surgery process after we agreed on a date and made sure i feel very comfortable and relaxed before operation. It was an open surgery (hernia repair) with a general anesthetic at chelsea and westminster hospital, private. The operation was very smooth, pain free and without any anesthetic complications after. I recovered in about 4-5 days, walked back home on the first day of surgery, back to work the next week and now after 6 weeks I am back to gym. I can’t be any more grateful and thankful, I can move and lift things normally and I am pain free. Thank you Dr. Smellie for the great work! Hani
