Mr Vitali Goriainov visited me several times during my stay at Queen Alexandra, more than I anticipated. He was able to explain how the operation proceeded and how progress was to be achieved. My hip replacement operation was very much anticipated as I was in a lot of pain prior to the operation. His clear concise explanations were down to earth and easily understood. He treated me with respect, care and consideration answering my queries when raised. I feel that whilst the operation may be a common procedure, it is still very invasive and a sincere compassionate surgeon visiting the patient afterwards really impresses me.
