My PSA has been high since 2016, a figure of 6. By 2022 it was showing 10.8. Mr Reddy at Spire Hospital expertly diagnosed a very enlarged Prostate gland & he thought that this was probably the cause. After a very detailed and excellent consultation with Mr Reddy, he recommend a GAHoLEP procedure. A pre-op conversation with Mr Reddy gave me lots of confidence & his support continued after the operation. This took place at the Spire Hospital on 24.2.23. Mr Reddy carried out the surgery, all went well and I spent one night in hospital. The staff team at the Spire were very caring and excellent. On 31.3.23 Mr Reddy informed me that the tissue taken had been tested and there was no sign of cancerous cells. I had a recent PSA test on 2.6.23 which showed a figure of 0.7. This procedure has basically given me my lifestyle back, only getting up once or not at all in the night. I would like to thank Mr Reddy for his superb professional work & his secretary, Cathy, for putting up with me & my questions.
