I had a terrible injury to my elbow with multiple fractures, and was fortunate enough to be treated by Mr Baring. I had surgery to correct the fractures and add supportive metalwork. My elbow has regained almost normal flexion (I.e. it moves almost normally). It turns out this is very unusual after such a severe crush injury. Many doctors I have seen since have been very surprised at the extent of my recovery and I can only put this down to Mr Baring’s talent for orthopaedic surgery.
He was also very personable and had good communication skills.
