Deciding to go for elective surgery is a big decision, more like a journey following months of research. I chose Mr Chapman as I liked his profile and was not disappointed. I had an initial consultation followed by a follow up, to confirm I understood everything, and set a date. Shortly before my admission I had a fall and was concerned I might develop a breast trauma neurosis. He had no hesitation in offering me a further appointment there was nothing to prevent my surgery going as schedule. During all consultations I felt listened too, and was confident I knew what to expect. It has been 10 weeks, and at no point have I regretted my surgery. After years of neck and back pain, I am pain free. I also feel confident and able to undertake certain sports activities such as running and playing tennis (both badly) that I could not consider trying prior to surgery. I expected unsightly scaring immediately after but have been so amazed at the speed of the healing process.
