I can happily say, without question, that Mr Bucur saved my life in 2014 when I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage and then, whilst he was operating to insert the coils to stem the blood flow into my skull, I also had a stroke. My wife told me that he was so calm & reasoning that she knew I was in the best possible hands and, 10 years on, I am in the best possible health I could hope for, and I am very comfortable to say that is down to the amazing man that is Sorin Bucur (& his team !). So lucky to have had him look after me !

Mr sorin bucur is a totally competent neurosurgeon. And a lovely person.He is genuine. He cares about people genuinely. Very likable and very proffesional..pleasure to have met him.highly skilled. Everything a worried brain tumor patient could want and need.

I have known Mr Bucur for a few years now and he is one of the kinds person I know. He explains everything clearly to me and I love how he has a sense of humour and I can joke around sometimes. He perform my brain op 2 years ago, he couldn't get all the tumour out and I know how gutted he was, he was so caring and as a wonderful team behind him. I've had a set back in the last few weeks and soon as it happen him and his Nero nurse Jackie Powell have been there for me. And I haven't had to wait for appointments for weeks they have done it within days. Jackie has always said call whenever I have anything I need to ask, in the last weeks or so Jackie as called serval times to see how I have been I have an appointment tomorrow. They are both amazing people and I trust them 100%with my life

I first met Mr Bucur last August at Hurstwood Park Neuroscience Centre in Haywards Heath. He is an absolutely amazing man! He explained everything in plain language and had no problem in answering any of the questions I had. I was discharged from the Royal Sussex County Hospital yesterday and again, cannot fault the advice and care given by this man. If you are lucky enough to be assigned to him as a patient, rest easy. You are in the best possible hands.
