i had open heart surgery here on 9thJuly 2013 after having pneumonia kidney failure,Sepsis then Endocarditis attacking my heart valves .First surgeon refused to operate as he said i would die on the table but then My hero Simin Kendall agreed to iperate giving me 50/50 chance of survival, i got scared so refused op but knew i would be dead within a few weeks but with lots of chats with staff etc i agreed to operation.I wrote good ye letters to my close family but because of the excellent work ,care i survived .Mr Kendall use to pop to see me and even telephoned the ward asking staff how i was nurses said i must of made a big impact on him.Well this wonderful man and his team saved my life and im so grateful for this i got to see my daughter and my husband walk down the aisle to marry her fiance. I can ne er repay this man for what he has done my heart is perfect but im struggling with Post Sepsi Syndrome but im alive xx
