Mr Cudlip is a very empathetic Dr who listens and responds in a genuinely caring way, which when you are in acute pain is very much needed. I trusted his knowledge and expertise in the care he suggested and I felt that he did everything he could at the time to help me. However I did feel somewhat let down by the lack of follow up, I was told I would be booked in for surgery upon Mr Cudlip's return from holiday as a back up plan in case I didn't get better while he was away. This didn't happen and it was only because I chased his secretary a couple of weeks after he was due to return because I hadn't heard anything that I got any kind of follow up care. Fortunately I didn't need surgery and my pain had significantly subsided but it did significantly delay me seeing Mr Cudlip again because the follow up appointments were not made after the initial consultation.

Response from Mr Simon Cudlip

I'm sorry about the delay in getting you an appointment, a combination of staff sickness, cover from other admin staff etc led to some delays for which I apologise. I've made the management of the centre I work in aware, and they have listened and fixed it. Making me aware of these type of problems is really useful, as I would feel exactly the same way
