Mr Tiroumal is just lovely. All questions and worries that I had about my diabetic retinal eye injection, were answered and I was made to feel completely at ease at my appointment. He will explain all pros and cons of the procedure you're having and doesn't "sugar-coat" facts (always helpful when you're diabetic!). I'm not a brave person at all and was dreading my appointment (who looks forward to a needle in their eyeball?!), but the procedure was pain-free (I promise), and just ... weird in sensation. I have a series of these injections coming up, one per month over the next few months, and I'm totally ok with the thought of it all now, having been through my first experience of it.
