I had my TKR done at the Horder Centre and could not fault my care from there or Mr Rajaratman at all.
I would say though, I was advised to do the pre operation exercises as well as the post operation exercises and I am glad I did and do now. Due to this I am months ahead on my recovery I am told.
It is a very difficult first 2 weeks for sure and during that time I questioned myself about my decision to have the surgery but I am past that now and have no regrets.
I just wish having been told 3 years ago I was a candidate for a TKR by another surgeon but was considered too young at the time, that it had been done then having just watched the procedure being done to a 48 year old man on TV.
