The care that I received from Sam, Barry and Chris and the team was first class.
They were all extremely informative, communicated in plain English and were very reassuring and empathetic. I needed two total knee replacements as a result of RA and I was able to have both operations completed within 10 weeks of each other.
On each occasion, their attention to my recovery and pain management was remarkable. I walked into Theatre in excruciating pain and left the hospital pain free both times. I have not had pain in my knees since.
This is truly incredible and has been life changing - to be able to walk again and be pain free. Four weeks after my second operation, I have been able to walk about a mile unaided.
Everyone who looked after me was so kind and I cannot thank them enough.
My follow up was at HCA, Welbeck Street and again the after care that I received, was flawless.
Nobody wants to have a knee replacement, never mind two, but if you need it done, in my view, there is only one team to go to.
