Just back from todays second dog walk, totalling about 13000 steps. I feel really happy being back on track again.
I had a total knee replacement on Dec.3 (7 weeks ago) and that was my second knee. Accident-prone? Not so sure, maybe just not giving in to old age. Kind of "use it or lose it".
Anyway I got to meet and be treated by Sam Rajaratnam and his team 3 years ago at Lister and was so impressed by the professionalism presented by everyone in the group that I wanted to find them again for this latest surgery.
Sam is just the most impressive surgeon, great personality, great explanations, total patient inclusion and a good laugh. I feel I can call Sam a friend.
Nowadays I am out of the workforce, but I would have been really happy to work with this very professional group.
I also took notice and appreciated the many different countries represented by Schoen Hospital employees.
