I meet Mr Di Saverio in March 2018 after being diagnosed with bowel cancer. From the moment I meet him I felt reassured he would do everything he could for me. He updated my family every step of the way and appeared to go out if his way to ensure my aftercare was managed to his high expectation. He is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. All I can really say is, if you are unlucky to get ill and have to be treated/operated on, feel lucky if Salomone is your doctor/surgeon. He is a master in his field and the NHS should feel privileged to have him at Addenbrookes.
