During a phone consultation he showed little compassion of how the pain I was experiencing from my endometriosis was impacting my life. He spent more time moaning about his workload and being close to burn out and how having to call patients for consultations wasn't helping. He asked me no exploratory or diagnostic questions about my pain and seemed totally disinterested. Despite my being cancelled 4 times for surgery and being on the waiting list for the longest, he wasn't interested in how this was affecting my life and genuinely didn't seem to care. All he seemed to care about was that he refused to cancel any other patients which went totally against hospital policy which is that when the hospital cancels surgery, lists have to be reviewed to ensure those at greatest clinical need are seen first.
