Mr Shetty performed major surgery on my Spine at The National, Queens square. He was then between two hospitals the other one being The Whittington. I had several complications but Mr Shetty & his team were absolutely marvellous. Every operation has a risk factor, and my condition was quickly and efficiently dealt with. I am returning for a further spinal operation at The Whittington Hospital and Mr Shetty will be performing the operation. The last operation I had a problem with part of the wound not healing - he immediately got in touch with a plastic surgeon when it became evident that this is what I would need and I was transferred to another hospital in Hampstead. Although they were good at the other hospital I missed not being able to see Mr Shetty. I have every faith in Mr Shetty and would recommend him to anyone who has a spinal problem. I had complex spinal surgery and it was just unfortunate that infections and kidney failure did not help matters and I was in both hospitals for three and a half months, of course this is no fault of Mr Shetty or his medical team. This really should not put anyone off as it was just something that nobody expected. I would not have Mr Shetty carry out another operation if that was the case. It is a big thing to go through but if you have faith in your surgeon then you should not worry. Keep up the good work Mr Rohit Shetty.
