I had a total knee replacement in July 2018 by this wonderful surgeon. Not only is his surgery outstanding but he is such a caring person. The operation was entirely successful but I reacted very badly to the anaesthetic resulting in a longer stay in hospital. One morning when I felt very low I heard later that he asked members of staff to come and talk to me during the day. I had quite a few visitors that day which was such a help.
He also arranged for rehabilitation at a local centre and later paid me a personal visit because his staff failed to inform him when my clips were removed. He makes a point of being present at this time - just another example of his meticulous work and his caring attitude. I think he deserves a medal - even a knighthood! Tessa West
