Dr Rob Pollock saved my life and leg, twice!
I was diagnosed with bone cancer when I was 11 years old and I was absolutely petrified. He was always so polite and explained things not just to my parents but also in a way that I understood and I was comfortable with. He also met me just before my surgery and was trying to make me laugh.
He successfully removed all the tumour and replaced the bone with a titanium rod. Thanks to him I can walk again.
I also had an accident where I slipped and broke my femur into pieces on the same leg where my previous metal work was. He operated and I now have a working leg again which I never thought was possible in the state my leg was in. Best surgeon I’ve ever met and I’m so thankful to him and his team. Plus both scars are very neat.
