I was referred to Mr. Hargrove by my GP, having requested a private referral for severe hip pain. When I saw him as an outpatient he recognised my need for a left hip replacement as a priority. I had that operation a few weeks later, in February 2017. The last pain I had from that side was as I went to theatre. The following January I had the right hip replaced. From the time I walked to theatre on that occasion I have had no pain in either hip. The second time round I knew what to expect so was less reluctant to move on with my improvement. In less than six weeks I saw Mr. Hargrove for my post-op check, walking normally with no stick. Three months post-op I rebuilt a rockery in the garden. I was 75 at the time of the first job. He is fully recommended.
