Had a reconstruction of my deltoid ankle ligament in early November. Dr Internet says that involves 6 weeks off your feet, then 6 weeks in a boot. In my case this was done via key-hole surgery, so fully weight bearing immediately with a boot which i only required for 2 weeks. A week later i was comfortably doing hour long dog walks up and down dale through mud, and after only 2 months I was back running and playing racketball. Slight pain in the shin, and a little less mobility than the other ankle at this point, but other than that no issues at all. 10 weeks in restarting pilates to help the mobility. Fair to say I'm extremely pleased with Mr Freeman's work!
