All in all, everything was first class. Mr Berber explained everything that was to happen in great detail. For my first operation at the end of July, he visited me twice in my room to keep me updated on when the surgery would take place and after I left recovery, he came once more to my room to check that everything was going well before he left the hospital for the day.
My second operation at the beginning of November was performed in the morning session, but Mr Berber still checked after the operation that all was well.
These were the first times I had been in hospital for operations but I would have no fear, in the future, if the need arose that I might have to be admitted again for a procedure.
Mr Berber spoke more as a friend than a surgeon - such a quality not too many people have nowadays. I was so pleased I had someone so kind looking after me and thank him so much for all his care.
