After several years suffering a loss of sensation in my fingers I had a consultation with Mr Mallina at Shirley Oaks hospital. He suggested my loss of sensitivity was due, in part at least, to carpal tunnel restriction and recommended a carpal tunnel release operation. This was duly carried out by Mr Mallina.
Throughout the whole process from initial consultation, to operation, to a follow-up consultation, Mr Mallina was patient and thorough in his explanations of the risks as well as of the benefits posed by the procedure.
His patient, courteous and friendly manner together with his professionalism would lead me to recommend him to anyone suffering a similar complaint.
