All of my appointments with Mr Sivaraj have been most courteous and pleasant exchanges. I heard the appointment before mine say "what a nice man". Whilst wearing a mask due to the pandemic I could sense his reassuring smile. After examination he carefully explained what was happening with my second cataract and discussed the different options available to improve my vision including both NHS and Private choices. He also listened to my concerns and my own version of vision improvements and possibilities. He made a considered recommendation. His consultations were relaxed and I didn't feel rushed into making a decision. I was told no two eye cataract operations are the same and this was true in may case. During the operation, which is not pleasant, Mr. Sivaraj and his team at Midland Eye made me comfortable. I followed all instructions given to me regarding eye drops and physical rest after the operation which is crucial to recovery. I was also given a post-operative appointment date. The follow up appointment proved that Mr. Sivaraj's recommendation was correct and I could amazingly read the smallest of print, and he also expressed how pleased he was with the successful result. I am pleased to recommend Mr. Sivaraj for his professionalism, his friendly disposition that dispensed my anxiety, and of course his judgment and expertise.
