Because of curvature of the spine I was unable to lie flat, but Mr Sivaraj was able to overcome this problem. I was very nervous and I found it helped when he told me briefly what he was doing during the operations. I had treatment for astigmatism and he warned me that my vision wouldn’t be as good as I might hope for. But in fact it is good, and as I have worn glasses since I was 10, it’s nice to be able to do without them now.
