From the moment I entered the Endoscopy unit I felt at total ease, having had a colonoscopy two years before I knew the procedure, however with a different doctor ( Dr Than who was equally as good ) performing the procedure I must admit I was a little apprehensive at first, I need not have worried the doctor was excellent in every way, kind courteous, most importantly he engaged with me asking if I had any concerns and throughout the procedure he kept reassuring me that I was doing fine, at the end he wrote up his report handing me a copy and explaining the results, at no time did he rush, apart from all that he was a really nice pleasant doctor, He explained to me that he had used a fairly new technique called 'Water Colonoscopy' this he explained was used to inflate the bowl instead of air, I found this to a little more comfortable than air alone, now a little praise for is assistants, they too were busy but still found time to look after me properly, I must mention the male nurse Chris who kept chatting to me probably to divert my mind away from the job in hand, the gas and air did it's job very well. Finally a mention to the team who were in recovery, everyone was so helpful, very pleasant and no doubt a real credit to the unit, even the young nurse who served the refreshments was very nice. I am a good talker and need little encouragement, I was the only patient present, two packets of biscuits and a couple of glasses of water and after 45 minutes I was ready to leave, In all a very pleasant experience, Having read Mr Rajnish's CV on this website he is a very experienced doctor and as loads of experience, I could think of no one better to have performed the colonoscopy, I don't see how they could improve the experience at all Thank you Mr Rajnish and of course all the other lovely people who work in the Endoscopy unit
