My wife insisted i made an appointment through St Joseph's hospital to see Mr Girgis after i was left devastated and depressed after being turned down for surgery for my cataracts by an independent clinic because the risks were too high. Mr Girgis did a thorough examination of my eyes, all the while making sure i felt comfortable and understood everything he was doing. Mr Girgis then explained that i had narrow lenses with angular cataracts which were growing forwards and backwards making the capsules they sat in very thin. He told me that the operation to replace my lenses would be very high risk, but he was confident that he could do it, which gave me the confidence to go ahead with the operation. The operation took place on the 2nd April 2022 at The Bristol Spire Hospital and was a complete success due to the skill and patience of Mr Girgis and his team. My eyesight was exceptionally improved from day one and i feel so grateful to Mr Girgis for giving my Life back, so i can continue to work and provide for my family. The aftercare and concern shown by Mr Girgis is second to none and i would encourage anyone with cataract problems to allow him to help them as he did for me. Once again - Thank you Mr Girgis from Andrew Mark Davies
