I found Mr. Ursell welcoming and reassuring from outset. Happy to answer my questions and giving me full information about the procedure. I also found the booklets which he gave me very informative and again reassuring. I found his approach to me as a patient unpatronising with just the right touch of humour, this I found set me at ease and able to ask about any issues that concerned me.
When it came to the operations, I was completely relaxed about having both eyes operated on, and had no anxiety issues.
Both procedures for me were straightforward, every effort was made to keep me comfortable. I appreciated Mr. Ursell checking that I was happy both before and after the operations, I had complete confidence in his knowledge and skills. He was brilliant, I would be very happy to recommend him to anybody, indeed I already have.
