Despite my being a high risk patient, and surgery being declined by other surgeons, Mr Partington expressed his willingness to operate, and has done so on two joints so far. Both joints turned out to be in a worse state than expected during surgery, but both have had a significant improvement on both of our expectations. After surgery, Mr Partington was pleased to see me, and recognised me (despite my being conscious and vertical!). My scars were clean and straight, and I would be happy to have further surgery with him in the future.
