Directly you consult Mr Pearce you have a feeling you are in safe hands. He takes time to answer your questions and answers you honestly with care and compassion. He is a gentleman. When you meet his team of professionals they too hold him in the highest regard and rightly so. I had a hip replacement and within two weeks I was pain-free and walking unaided with that feeling I could run if I wanted to. I can not praise my care high enough. If I have just one regret it is that I didn't get the procedure done sooner. Once I had made up my mind I was going through with it the process took about six weeks and it is just so fantastic to feel like me again after a year of pain.

I needed a hip replacement in 2017. While I wasted my time going to my doctors who sent me for everything except for a scan because of NHS protocol which is out of their control. So I decided I had no option but to pay privately to see a specialist consultant. Mr Pearce picked up that I needed a hip replacement when he carried out an x-ray as soon as I saw him...even though an x-ray was carried out under the NHS but I was just sent to the physio department in Buckingham Hospital. I was in agony and actually ended up closing my business because I couldn’t function in my line of work. I paid for the initial scan and injections to relieve the pain but he did the surgery under the NHS. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. His manner is so kind and comforting and a real expert in his field. And I’m ashamed to say I wasn’t the nicest person but he took me in his stride saying he understood that pain can affect the way you are. However you would have no cause to be frustrated with this wonderful consultant.
