On being told that I had a heart problem,I was suprised because I had no symtoms, plus thefact I keep myself fit and active.Meeting mr briffa I new that I was in safe hands.Lots of tests.Thenhe surgested he proceeds with operation to repair a leaking mistral valve. On march 24,2014 the fantastic nurses got me ready for the operation the next morning.I remember entering the thearte and then waking up in intensive care with wires machines attached, but the most important part of what took place in the operating thearte was that mr briffa went out of his way to speak to lynda (wife) and explained what took place and reassured her that it was 100% sucessfull. Now, the part played by the nhs nurses, they were the bees knees, the care was out of this world, through intensive care, progressive care, and the general ward, staff from all over the world, working as a team,to give me care that perfect.long live the NHS,thank you mr briffa.david skinner and family
