I would like to reassure other patients that they are in very safe hands with Mr Briffa and his team. This surgery was unplanned and once my condition was diagnosed Mr Briffa organised my operation within a week of my admission. I had an aortic heart valve replacement operation and was treated with dignity and respect throughout. The operation was fully explained to me and I felt I had informed choice about the procedure and options for different heart valves. The procedure and after care was excellent and both myself and my family were given good information and support.
