If there were more like Mr Abassi-Ghadi, the world would be a better place.
Incisive in thought and action - both essential for a top class surgeon - his appraisal of a situation was swift and (the tricky bit) correct.
He made me better, he made me feel better.
Top man! Next time I have a perforated bowel I shall ask for him by name!
