I was a little apprehensive about the carpal tunnel procedure that Mr Bhat was going to carry out on my right hand, especially as I live alone and would have no-one to help me, but he explained exactly what he was going to do, what I would have to do to improve my fingers' mobility and the actual procedure was quick and painless. It was a little unfortunate that the weather turned extremely hot the day after it had been done and the thick rigid fleece elbow sling proved to be a nightmare. I would have preferred something that was not so hot to wear, especially at night but I stuck it out!
Mr Bhat is charming and was very encouraging when I went back to see him the first time, and he expressed delight with the success of the procedure when I went for my follow-up after two months.
