My father was recently admitted to hospital and was assigned to Mr Thornton during an overnight stay in SAU. After a bank holiday of being under doctors on call only, Mr Thornton moved very quickly to fully diagnose my dad on the Tuesday following bank holiday Monday and took time mid way through his ward rounds to explain to my mother and I what may be causing the problem. A CT scan was swiftly arranged that same day and Mr Thornton met us at my fathers bedside that very same afternoon to explain in detail the outcome.
Mr Thornton was patient, extremely caring and moved quickly and efficiently to mitigate our anxiety. He spoke to us using terms that we could understand and made us feel unrushed when taking time to answer our many queries.
Mr Thornton is one in a million and I would have no hesitation in recommending his professionalism, efficiency and caring nature to any future patient. You would be in wonderful hands!!!
