I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and luckily Mr Thornton and his team carried out this major surgery on 10 May 2018. At all times both before and after surgery I was kept fully informed by him and his great team of what was going on and I was discharged home within 6 days. Every nurse who has looked after me both in the Maelor Hospital and at home have said what a neat scar I have and it is healing really well and my pain levels have been much lower than I had expected. I fully believe that the care and attention I have received has been nothing short of first class
