Mr De Silva did not listen to me from the morning of my hysterectomy straight through to my follow up appt in clinic.
I was left with a bowel obstruction after my hysterectomy, readmitted, spent 3 weeks in hospital and had 2 further surgeries to repair bowel and hernia. I was told that the bowel had been stitched into my wound in two places and had been nicked in another place. Mr De Silva did not review me during the 3 weeks I spent in hospital and refused to answer any questions I had when I saw him in clinic some time later.
