When I was advised that I needed an operation for a bunion I was quite apprehensive.Two members of my family had previously undergone an operation for bunions and had been confined to a wheelchair for six week following surgery. I was referred to West Valley Hospital and was fortunate enough to be placed under the care of Mr K Kunasingham. (Mr K K) At the initial consultation he explained the procedure and advised that I would be back in my trainers in two weeks. He told me that he was going to do the procedure by key hole surgery, a less invasive method than the traditional method, key hole surgery would also reduce the recovery time, Mr KK was true to his word. Two weeks after the operation I was wearing my trainers and walking extremely well. At no time did I need crutches or pain relief medication that the hospital provided. Follow up appointments and after care went smoothly and I was seen by Mr KK at all appointments. I cannot thank him enough for providing clear information and putting me at ease throughout my experience. I would thoroughly recommend Mr KK for anyone who needs to have bunion surgery.
