I ruptured my achilles tendon whilst exercising in mid may. Luckily for me Mr Kunasingam was on call at my local hospital the week of my injury. The day after my accident I was seen by him to discuss treatment options. As a medical doctor I had done my own research on conservative vs operative management and I was unsure of what I should go for. Mr Kunasingam explained the pros and cons of each method and also took the time to call my next of kin to discuss it with them to. I was very confident in him and decided to go for surgery. I had the operation that afternoon, 24 hours after my injury. I am now 6 weeks post operative.. I have been virtually pain free, I have had minimal swelling and I am already weight-bearing in trainers and able to walk. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Kunasingam. He has made my recovery from this incredibly serious injury so much easier. He has been kind and professional throughout and I am forever grateful.
