I had bunion surgery on my left foot by another surgeon in October 2013. It was open surgery which meant 4 weeks on crutches in a soft bundle, 3 weeks in a cast with a velcro boot, 3 months of podiatry care and physiotherapy. I had some issues with the aftercare but my foot and toe are nice and straight but I have a large scar and couldn't face getting my right foot sorted out as I didn't have the time or will to go through it all again as it was over a year before my left foot felt ok! Nearly 5 years later, I had the time and reaĺly needed to get my right foot sorted out! Thank god I was referred to this fabulous doctor! Small cuts, soft padding and velcro boot, foot elevated as much as possible for 2 days then walking on it as normal. I have had check ups every 2 weeks and my foot is as good after 6 weeks as it was after 9 months last time. Have to go back in six weeks for final check up. Wish my first experience had been as pleasant as this time. Mr kunasingum listens to my conserns and I really felt reasured it would be different this time.
