I have had a total knee replacement. At all times I was treated with courtesy and care. My consultations with Mr Moholkar were very informative and my questions and concerns were all answered promptly' The surgery went well and the ward staff were very caring and efficient during my hospital stay. Aftercare is still ongoing with physio sessions but hopefully all is proceeding normally. I have had the usual battle with the compression stockings but I found that applying strips of micropore tape held the top of the stocking in place and stopped any wrinkling around the knee area. The use of a double (or 2 single) cooker timers set for 20 mins and 2 hours whilst using the ice pack regime as a reminder.
